Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a distinct electric discharge dot pattern by a method wherein a plurality of rows of the dot shifted in its printing position are provided in a printing head in the serial printer of an electric discharge dot printing system and a plurality of times of the printing is effected at the same printing position. CONSTITUTION:The electric discharge dots 1 are arranged in the printing head 12 alternately in the left and the right thereof and the right side electric discharge dots are driven at first by a printing code signal thereby printing a printing pattern 4. Subsequently, the printing head 12 is moved into an arrow sign direction or the right direction and the left side electric discharge dots are driven by the same printing code signal. As a result, one side dots are put on the other side dots in an obtained printing pattern 6 and printing of distinct clearness is available.
