Abstract

1429978 Ink droplet printers MEAD CORP 3 Sept 1973 [18 Sept 1972] 41282/73 Heading B6F Apparatus for printing bar codes comprises a manifold generating a curtain of ink droplets 16a, 16b, a charging electrode 30 common to a plurality of streams of droplets, and means for catching unwanted droplets. The droplet streams may be in two groups, one group forming short timing bars 25 and the other elongating selected bars 24. A charging electrode 30 is provided for each group of streams.
