Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure an equal time duration between the both CCD outputs, by image-forming the original information in overlap on the CCDs of the solid state image pickup element which are adjacent to each other and then deleting one of the overlapping CCD outputs along with the partial deletion of the other CCD output. CONSTITUTION:The start signals of CCD2 and 3 are applied separately from counter 10, and the outputs of both CCDs are amplified 11 and 13 to be then supplied to gate circuits 12 and 14. Thus output signals A and B are delivered. On the other hand, the output of counter 10 is supplied to control circuit 15, and the output of circuit 15 is applied to circuits 12 and 14 each in the form of the gate signal. And the clock pulse is applied to CCD2 and 3 each in the form of the reference signal. Circuit 15 generates the output at the switching point t of the overlapping parts of the CCD2's output, and circuits 12 and 14 are closed in the range from point t to the next start signal. As a result, the time duration becomes equal between outputs A and B. Thus the plotting width becomes identical although signals A and B may be applied to plural numbers of recording elements.
