PURPOSE:To establish a magnetic film for magnetic bubble element, consisting of yttrium.iron garnet including iron with specific constitution, and yttrium, samarium, erbium, calcium, germanium and to improve production of crack. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic film consisting of yttrium.iron garnet expressed in equation (0.25<=X<=0.30, 1.16<=Y<=1.48, Z=0.74), is obtained. In said equation, when X, Y, Z are within said range, the performance of + or -0.05-0.1%/ deg.C is obtained at the temperature of -20-+100 deg.C for collapse magnetic field and strip-out magnetic field is obtained, and the difference of the lattice constant of substrate and film is as small as + or -2/10<3>Angstrom .
