Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the mode change-over switch and to reduce noise, by switching the recording mode and reproducing mode by means of the switching means consisting of transistors and capacitors and using the capacitors effectively. CONSTITUTION:At recording mode, the power supply voltage is fed to a control terminal 41 and transistors (TR)54, 34, 42 are on. Further, at reproducing mode, the power supply voltage is fed to a control terminal 57 and TR53 is on. Thus, at recording mode, the recording signal is fed to recording/reproducing heads 32, 31 through the input terminal 62, TR54, capacitors 51, 52. In thic case, the capacitors 51, 52 are operated as decoupling capacitors. At reproduction, the capacitors 51, 52 are operated as the by-pass capacitor for noise caused in each feedback loop of the amplifiers 45, 37. The mode is changed over with the switching means like this, and the mode change-over switch can be simplified and noise can be reduced by effectively using capacitors.
