Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an apparatus for confirming an amount of injection which permits confirmation of an air amount contained in semifluid materials, by an arrangement wherein a means for detecting an amount of travel of a piston rod when pressing a piston is provided at the injection side of a gauging cylinder for gauging the semifluid materials. CONSTITUTION:A first dock 13 operating limit switches 15, 18 is provided to a piston rod 12A of a gauging cylinder 12. An oil pump 21 is operated by a solenoid valve 25 to move a piston of a cylinder 24 in the Y1-direction, so that grease G is supplied to the gauging cylinder 12 by a grease pump 23. When the piston rod 12A is moved and the first dock 13 makes the limit switch 15 to be operated, supply of the grease G is stopped and a solenoid valve 19 is operated at the same time. On this occasion, when oil O at a predetermined pressure is supplied to a leftward chamber of the gauging cylinder 12 by using the oil pump 21, the first dock 13 makes the limit switch 15 to be operated in the case that the grease contains air not less than a predetermined amount, thus informing of that air not less than a predetermined amount is contained that grease.
