Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize easy detection of the movable edge of a transmitting part by utilizing a photoelectric element in a detector for a movable edge of the transmitting part of a fluid control machine so that neither mechanical part of operation nor mechanical contact point may be required. CONSTITUTION:When a piston 3 moves right and approaches a phoroelectric unit 6 by means of predetermined operation, beams from a luminous diode D are reflected by an edge surface 3a of a piston 3 and introduced onto a light receiving face of a phototransistor T. Thus, the photo transistor T is turned on and to it is operated a solenoid valve of an oil pressure cylinder 1 connected is stopp ed through a control circuit, duly movement of the piston 3. Advance or retreat of the piston 3 is controlled through detection of the movable edge of the piston 3 by means of the photoelectric unit 6 attached to both head cover 4 and a rod cover.
