Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of purifying by making exhaust gas passing an exhaust gas gathering part pass through a catalyst in an expansion chamber after throttling the gas in the exhaust gas purifier for the motor bicycle.
CONSTITUTION: The exhaust gas from a plurality of cylinders of the motor bicycle is gathered in a gathering part 4 from pipes 2 and throttled in a throttle 4a. Thereafter, the gas passes through the catalyst 6 provided in the expansion chamber 5 set subsequently and in connection to the throttle and is exhausted through a muffler 3. Since the exhaust gas is made to pass the throttle and then the catalyst in the expansion part after being gathered in this way, it contacts evenly with the catalyst and thus the efficiency of purifying of the exhaust gas is improved.
