CONSTITUTION:An image signal of an object is obtained by means of a photoelectric conversion device 1 and then is gradually accumulated in an image register 3 through the intermediary of AD converter 2. In the meantime, a binary circuit 4 receives a signal from AD converter 2, comparing it with a binary level from a threshold value register 5 and converting it to 1, 0 signals. A detection circuit detects an object with the help of its 1, 0 patterns, resulting in the fetching of a color shade image from an image register 3 by an arithmetic circuit 7 and the subsequent output to a printer 8 of measurement results through image processings. Following these steps, a mean value around the most frequent value of concentration of an object is output to the threshold value register 5. Thus it is possible to minimize the omission of detection of an object and an erroneous detection of admixture.
