Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the anisotropic electromagnetic plate having a good cold rolling property, by using the slab containing a fixed ratio of C, O, Si as starting material at the molten steel stage.
CONSTITUTION: Slab containing <0.020% C, ≤0.004% O, ≤4% Si and also, containing a suitable quantity of Mn, Cu, S, Al, N, B, etc., is used as starting material. Hereby, formation of the secondary recrystallization is stabilized and magnetic characteristic is improved and also, decarbonization annealing process is able to omit. For example, 2.5mm hot rolled plate containing 0.0020% C, 3.00% Si, 0.07% Mn, 0.019% S, 0.035% Al, 0.002% O, is kept in the nitrogen atmosphere containing 10% hydrogen for 2 minutes and is quenched. The above plate is cold-rolled to 0.35mm thickness after pickling by Al, Ca, etc. and annealing releasing agent mainly composed of magnesia, is applied and box annealing is carried out at 1,200°C, for 20hrs in the hydrogen atmosphere. As a result of it, Bs=1.84T, W 17/50=1.61 W/kg.
