Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the manufacture of a gas laser tube and improve the dimensional accuracy by a method wherein a plurality of parts are hermetically bonded plural times according to the assembling order by using frit glasses having the same or different working temperatures. CONSTITUTION:A stem disc 2 and a thin glass tube 3c are hermetically welded together by using a frit glass to constitute a stem. Then, a mirror supporting body 4 is welded to one end on the anode side of the thin glass tube 3c of said stem to constitute a stem structure body. Moreover, a discharge narrow tube 7 is welded concentrically with the thin glass tube 3c to constitute a stem structure body work portion. Then, a frit glass is arranged at the end portion of an enclosure wide tube portion 1 provided with a cathode 6 along its inner circumferential surface, on the cut surface to bond to the stem disc of the stem structure body work portion, and melted to constitute an enclosure glass tube structure body. Finally, a frit glass is arranged on the mirror supporting body 4 to hermetically bond a mirror 5a.
