Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a MTF measuring apparatus for a half lens and to permit the measurement to be ready by pivotting the frequency chart and the solid-body scanning element around the axis of rotation in the direction orthogonal to the chart surface and the axis of rotation in the direction orthogonal to the solid-body scanning element surface. CONSTITUTION:Light from an illumination lamp 4 is applied to a frequency chart 10 through a holding plate 5. The focus function of a half lens L being measured allows images of the frequency chart 10 or the like to be focussed in the potoactive region of a solid-body scanning element 20 or the like. Electric signals from the solid-body scanning element 20 or the like are input to an operation processor OP, which calculates MTF of the half lens being measured. The result is displayed on a display panel PA.
