Abstract

PURPOSE: To restrict the pressure of main steam of a steam turbine which performs pressure change operation or the like, by limiting the degree of opening of a control valve depending on the change in the pressure of main steam.
CONSTITUTION: A turbine speed signal SF is converted into a load signal L1 by a speed load set value RL and a speed control ratio circuit 72. A pressure signal PF is compared with a main steam pressure set value RP. The pressure deviation ΔP is applied to a boiler controller 90. The ratio of pressure change is compared with a prescribed value by a differentiation circuit 78 and a comparator 79 and the pressure deviation is compared with a prescribed value by a comparator 88 to put relays 80, 81 in action. The pressure PF of main steam is sharply reduced to put the relays 80, 81, 82 in action. As a result, a limit value PL from a pressure control ratio circuit 75 is applied to adjust a valve opening degree signal L3 to a limit value L2 to lower the degree of opening of a valve. Load can thus be optimally restricted at the sharp change in the pressure.
