Abstract
PURPOSE:To inhibit the variation of the output current peak value of a cyclconverter by a method wherein a current pattern of the cycloconverter is changed and the induced voltage of a linear synchronous motor is compensated. CONSTITUTION:A cycloconverter 5 for two groups of an A group and a B group operates a motor 6 by flowing output currents, a phase thereof is the same as a unit sine wave 1 and which have a command 2 for the peak crest value of current- wave, to a linear synchronous motor 6 by means of a current controlling system 4. Phase reference signals 7 are counted using gate deblocking signals 8 as reference and a stepped wave 9 is generated, the wave and the sine wave 1 and speed signals 11 are multiplied by means of multipliers 22, 23, and induced voltage compensating signals are obtained and inputted to the current controlling system 4. Consequently, the increase of the peak value of the output currents of the converter 5 when there is no induced voltage is inhibited. Thus, the output currents of the convertter 5 can be controlled at a constant value.
