Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily remove the upper concrete portion in the in-place pile driving work by fitting a cylinder on iron bars to be buried in the upper concrete portion on such a way as to avoid the joining between the iron bars and the concrete.
CONSTITUTION: An iron bar cage 10 for in-place pile driving work consists of a large number of iron bars 11 extending upwards and plural hoop bars 12 to connect the iron bars 11. In the boundary between the upper concrete portion 90 to be removed after placement and a concrete portion 91 not to be removed, flat metal pipes 18 and 19 are placed on a supporting member 13 fixed to the hoop bars 12, and a cylinder 15 is fitted on the iron bars 11 of the upper concrete portion 90. After driving a pile, when the ends of the pipes 18 and 19 are exposed and pressurized water is supplied, the flat pipes 18 and 19 are expanded to break the concrete in the boundary portion. Then, when pulling up the pipes 18 and 19, the upper concrete portion 90 can be easily removed by the aid of the cylinder 15.
