Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform air purification certainly by reading off the output voltage of an inside-the-car gas detector by a digital processor, actuating an air purifier etc. if the voltage reading is above a certain level, and by holding the perifier in operation a certain period after restoration to purity. CONSTITUTION:Output voltages of a sensor element 1a and a gas detector temp. compensator element 1b of a gas detector 1 are input into a micro-computer 4 through a digital converter 3. According to comparison of the computer 4 with reference to the latest output voltage of the detector, the output voltage shall be set as a new reference level, if the difference between the two values is smaller than a certain preset value, and an output amplifier circuit 5 shall be energized to actuate the function part of air-conditioner if the difference becomes larger than said preset value. The function part shall be held in operation by the use of a timer even for a certain period of time after the output is restored to the reference level. Thus, certain removal of the air contamination is assured.
