PURPOSE:To improve the shelf life of the image of silver halide color photographs by coating the substrate side surface of a photosensitive material formed with the image with a resin film having specific oxygen permeability. CONSTITUTION:After a desired image is formed on the color image forming layer 1 on a substrate 2, a plastic film 3 of <=2ml/(m<2>.hr.atom) oxygen permeability is formed on the surface of the substrate 2 on the side opposite from the image forming surface, whereby said surface is covered and the color fading of the color image is prevented. The homopolymer and copolymer of vinyl alcohol and polyester and the like are preferable as the polymer constituting the above-mentioned plastic film 3.
