Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform the life test under the state where a tension difference is given to the rope, by a simple constitution where a torque control wheel is provided on the same axis as the testing sheave. CONSTITUTION:Rotary yoke 5 fitted to sun shaft 3 driven by motor 4 supports rotatably planet shafts 7 through bearing 6 at tips of radial arms. Testing sheave 8 connected to torque control wheel 9 through planet shafts 7 into one body. Testing rope 10 is hung on testing sheave 8 into an envelope form, and both ends are fixed through spring 10. Spring 10 gives tension to testing rope 10. Torque controlling rope 12 is hung on torque control wheel 9 into an envelope and is hung on idle pulley 13 and has both ends connected to both ends of piston rod 15 through spring 14. Torque controlling rope 11 gives normal and reverse torque to testing sheave 8 through torque control wheel 9 by appyling pressure to the upper face and the lower face of piston 16.
