Abstract
PURPOSE: To foam well irrespective of an external temp. by mixing and foaming a polyisocyanate component and a polyol component by using a foaming agent liquid at atmospheric temp. and pressure and a gaseous foaming agent.
CONSTITUTION: As foaming agents, a foaming agent (a C foaming agent) (e.g.; trichlorotrifluoromethane) is preliminarily mixed in a polyol component (a B component) and a foaming agent (a D foaming agent) (e.g.; dichlorodifluoromethane) with a b.p. of 5°C or less being gaseous at atmospheric temp. and pressure is mixed in 1W5wt% to a total component wt. of a polyisocyanate (an A component) or in the B component. Subsequently, the A component, the B component, the C foaming agent and the D foaming agent are mixed along with other components such as a catalyst or the like under high pressure in a mixing head and the resulting mixture is subjected to the spray foaming to obtain the hard foamed urethane foam. Because said mixture is subjected to the primary foaming by the D foaming agent during spraying, the heat insulating is carried out well and said mixture is foamed constantly without being affected by a peripheral temp.
