Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the breaking of a lead section of a coil and facilitate fixing work by a method wherein the segments of a commutator are formed taperlingly so that a diameter of the core side becomes larger, and the lead section of the coil is bent at one place and fixed. CONSTITUTION:The surfaces of segments 14 are made up taperlingly in shapes that expand toward the core 2 side in a commutator 4 formed by unifying the segments 14 with a resin molding material 6. A lead section 3a of an armature coil 3 is bent at one place, placed on a taperling surface of the commutator 14 and welded and fixed by means of an ultrasonic welder 8. Thus, the cracks of the lead section 3a of the coil is suppressed minimally, and the breaking of the coil can be prevented while the bending processing and welding work of the coil are facilitated.
