Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance dust recovery efficiency by a merhod wherein a coarse dust collector and a packing layer are provided in a container and a purifying hood for partially fluidizing the packing layer is arranged to an upper part of said packing layer to treat a large amount of a dust containing gas and to carry out the dust collection continuously.
CONSTITUTION: The dust containing gas is flowed into the container 1 from a gas inlet thereof to be subjected to gravity separation of the coarse dust therein by the coarse dust collector and passed through the packing layers 7, 8 to collect the remaining dust and accumulate on the packing layers. The purifying hoods 22, 23 provided to each upstream sides of each stages are rotated along with a rotary cylinder and small chamber parts of said packing layers covered by said hoods become a fluidized layer condition and the dust accumulated on the packing layers is floated and scattered by a reverse gas stream and sucked and recovered by the hoods and introduced to an external dust collector through fine particle ducts 20, 21. If a heat accumulator 25 is provided to a downstream side of the coarse dust collector 4, abnormally raised temp. can be absorbed by the heat accumulator 25 to make a gas temp. uniform and the lowering of dust collecting capacity and damage of each devices can be prevented.
