Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the number of copies taken repetitively by providing a corona discharger and the counter electrode in addition to a corona discharger and the counter electrode used for the formation of secondary latent image, and by specifying the values of their intervals and a bias electric field. CONSTITUTION:In the photographing method wherein modulates an ion flow with the primary latent image formed on screen photoreceptor 1, to form the secondary latent image corresponding to the primary latent image on the image receiving body, corona discharger 29 and counter electrode 30 are provided across screen photoreceptor 31 in addition to corona discharger 25 and counter electrode 26 for secondary latent image formation. Then, the interval between counter electrode 25 for the secondary latent image formation and screen photoreceptor 26 is set to <=2mm., and the bias electric field between the both to <=1.2kV/mm.; and the interval between the other counter electrode 29 and screen photoreceptor 30 is set to 2-6mm., and the bias electric field between the both 1.5-2.5kV/mm..
