Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the unstableness of tracking with a simple constitution, by giving a predictive tracking under a prediction of a flying at a certain altitude in the case of the target having a low angle of elevation and then limiting the working range of the angle of elevation. CONSTITUTION:The synthetic signal of the direct reflected wave and the sea surface multipath reflected wave is supplied to the phase error discriminating circuit 6 via a receiver 5. Then the signal corresponding to the difference between the angle shown by the antenna 1 and the target angle of elevation is delivered. The switch 8 is switched to the contact A and contact B by the output of the mode deciding circuit 14 in the case of a low angle and a high angle of elevation respectively. The target predictive angle of elevation is supplied to the servo compensating circuit 4 via the limiter circuit 15 and subtractor circuit 16 in case a target having a low angle of elevation is tracked. Then the antenna 1 is controlled by the antenna driving device 3.
