Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a switching device and thus realize a reduction of the production cost, by excluding the external parts by installing a 1/2 divider, comparator, R-S flip-flop and others. CONSTITUTION:A detecting coil 23 is provided on the rotary cylinder 21 to extract the rotary detection signal P1 with every turn of the cylinder 21. Then the reference pulse P2 is delivered via a delaying circuit like a monostable multivibrator 26 to be used as a switching signal between the two rotary magnetic heads A and B. the switching timing between the heads A and B is equivalent to just the middle of a cycle of the pulse P2. Thus the count value of a cycle of the latch circuit 29 is made to pass through the 1/2 divider 30, and the count value of the counter 28 of the next cycle receives a comparison through the comparator 31. As a result, the switching pulse P4 is led out to be applied to the reset terminal R of an FF. At the same time, the pulse P2 is supplied to the set terminal S, and the change-over switch 24 is controlled by the output of the terminal S. In such way, the constitution of a switching device can be simplified to realize a reduction of the production cost.
