Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a membrane tank in which a breathing tank and a cold holding layer may be communicated with each other without having any valves at the midway thereof, no errorneous operation is caused by a cut-off power supply, and a volume of consumption of N2 gas may extremely be reduced. CONSTITUTION:Provision of a doubler 29 having a proper wall thickness and length on the upper part of the membrane member 23 in a main body may form a structure which is durable against a high gas pressure in the inner tank and eliminate a balanced pressure device. N2 gas in the cold temperature holding layer 37 and the surrounding air are made to be balanced by a breathing tank 38 provided with a diaphragm 39, so that a variation of N2 gas volume produced by a thermal variation can be accommodated by the diaphragm 39.
