Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent synthetic fiber yarn from slacking and reduce the entwinement and disconnection thereof when it is wound up, by operating a fluid confounding process apparatus immediately before or almost simultaneously with the change over from the low-speed running to the stationary running.
CONSTITUTION: When a drafting machine comprising a heating roller 1, a drafting roller 3, a compressed-air nozzle apparatus 7, a twisted yarn wind-up machine 14 and the like is started at low speed, the twisted yarn wind-up machine 14 starts, and spindle yarn S starts rotation at a time t0, then the drafting roller 3 starts, being delayed by a timer, and drafting roller yarn D starts rotation at a time t1. Then, at a time t2, a high-speed drive switch is turned on, and when the drafting roller 3 starts high-speed rotation at a time t4 according to the timer, almost simultaneously, the compressed-air nozzle apparatus 7 is started, at a time t3, to jet compressed air. Thereby, the yarn tension between the drafting roller 3 and the compressed-air nozzle apparatus 7 never slackens, so that the entwinement and disconnection of the yarn can be prevented.
