Abstract

PURPOSE: To raise the productivity of large-diameter reinforced plastic composite pipe by shortening its manufacturing process by a method in which an intermediate layer is formed by piercing both sides of iron bar into a flange and spraying a base material for forming a resin mortar layer while turning a core mold.
CONSTITUTION: An inside FW-reinforced resin layer is formed by winding a releasing tape 4 around a core mold 1 fitted with a flange 2 while driving the core mold 1 and then winding a large number of glass filaments 5 around the periphery of the releasing tape 4, where the glass filaments 5 are introduced after being dipped in a thermosetting resin. Then, the rotation of the core mold 1 is stopped, ends of reinforcing iron bars 6 are pierced through the holding holes of each flange 2 and fixed, and then an intermediate layer is formed by spraying a resin mortar 11 by a spray gun 10 while turning the core mold 1 and then smoothening and filling the mortar 11 into the rear side of the iron bars 6 by means of rollers 9 and 9a. And, an outer layer is formed around the intermediate layer by winding glass filaments around the intermediate layer in the same way as in the formation of the inner layer.
