CONSTITUTION:When a certain key on the keyboard 7 is pressed down, a strobe signal of the logic level L is produced on the strobe signal line l1. Then the oscillation of a clock generating circuit is stopped by the clock control circuit 10, and accordingly the counting of the counter 2 is discontined to deliver consecutively the key code corresponding to the key. On the other hand, when the central processor receives the strobe signal, the data reception confirming circuit 9 is driven to activate the line l1. After this, the circuit 9 is reset to make the line l1 inactive again when the processing completes for the received data at the central processor. Thus the keyboard is reset to the normal scanning mode.
