Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the explosion of a boiler body by connecting a water tank having water surface level lower than the height of the top of the boiler body through a connecting pipe to the boiler body and retaining the pressure in the boiler body always lower than the atmospheric pressure.
CONSTITUTION: The water tank 2 is installed, for example, lower than the floor surface so as to have the water surface level 2a lower than the top 1a of the boiler body 1 attached with a burner 4, and the tank 2 is connected through a connecting pipe 3 to the boiler body 1. A level detecting container 7 for detecting the water surface level of the water in the boiler body 1 is connected to the top 1a of the boiler body, and the top of the container 7 is connected through a gas suction tube 10 to a vacuum pump 9, which is operated when the water level in the container 7 drops to predetermined level and stopped when it rises to predetermined level under the control.
