Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a recording with an optional color, by selecting an optional color information out of the original document containing several color information. CONSTITUTION:The image forming device consists of the reading part 101 and the writing part 102. The part 101 includes the photodetectors 110-1-110-4 owing to the locating relation of the writing head to print two colors of e.g. red and black in the part 102. Two pieces of these photodetectors are provided in the same side centering on the extended line of the optical axis of the lens 108 with the other two pieces set at the opposite side. A beam splitter 109 is provided at the back of the lens 108, and the beams passing through the lens 108 form an information image to be read on the receiving surface of each photodetector 110. At the part 102, the recording paper 120 is wound round the drum 124 through an absorbing hole to be turned in a body with the drum 24. Meanwhile a writing is carried out by two pairs of the ink jetting heads 125B and 125R and based on the reading signal supplied from the part 101.
