Abstract
PURPOSE:To intend the increase of a heavy load discharge performance under lower temperature by mixing fine particles of MnO2 in the first layer in case of using a double layers of active substance layers consisting of the first layer having a main body of Ag2O as an active substance and the second layer having a main body of MnO2 as an active substance. CONSTITUTION:An anode 2 consists of the first active substance layer 8 having Ag2O as a main body in which fine particles of MnO2 and an amorphous graphite as a conductive auxiliary agent arranged to a side correspondent to a separator 3 and the second active substance layer 9 having MnO2 as a main substance in which an amorphous graphite is mixed therein arranged to a side correspondent to the bottom of the anode case 1. In said first active substance, for instance, fine particles of MnO2 having approximately 3mu or 0.3mu of mean particle size are mixed by a given amount.
