PURPOSE:To prevent overheating to be caused by leakage flux and to reduce stray loss improving the performance of the stationary electric induction apparatus by a method wherein plural long vertical magnetic shieldings and plural short horizontal magnetic shielding are connected alternately by lap connection at the circumference of a hole for leading out of winding. CONSTITUTION:The pocket hole 5 for leading out of lead wires 4 to be led out from the center part of the height of windings 2 is provided at a tank 3, and the magnetic shielding device 21 is equipped on the inside face of the wall of the tank 3 confronting with the winding 2 making the pocket hole 5 as the center. The shielding device 21 is constituted of rectangular vertical magnetic shieldings 11 consisted of piling up of silicon steel bands a little longer than the height of the windings 2, and of horizontal magnetic shieldings 12 shorter than the former. The plural vertical magnetic shieldings 11 are arranged on the right and the left side faces of the hole 5 making to have respectively some gap in the horizontal direction, and the holizontal magnetic shieldings 12 are arranged between thereof at the upper and the lower parts of the hole 5 making to have respectively some gap and are connected to the vertical magnetic shieldings 11 alternately by lap connection.
