Abstract
PURPOSE:To uniformalize the distribution of magnetic flux density, and to decrease core loss by making dimensions in the radial direction larger than a central section of a tooth in both end sections of an opening section of a stator slot and enlarging a distance with a rotor of said section. CONSTITUTION:The stator slot 22 has the opening section 23 on a circumferential surface at the side opposing to the rotor 1, and a nose section of the tooth 24 takes a form concentric to the rotor 1. Here, the both end sections of the tooth 24 in the vicinity of the opening section 23 of said slot 22 are shaped so as to separate from a concentric circle toward the outside in the radial direction, and a gap between the rotor 1 and a stator 2 is increased relatively near the opening section 23. Accordingly, the larger the gap between the rotor and the stator becomes, the more the unevenness of the distribution of magnetic flux density generated by the existence of the opening section 23 is relaxed, and eddy-current loss generated due to a sudden change of magnetic flux is decreased.
