Abstract

PURPOSE:To earth a titled medium surely, and prevent the earth resistance from fluctuating owing to dirt and abrasion by laminating an insulation layer, a resistance layer and a recording layer in this order on a conductive supporting member, and electrically connecting the resistance layer to the conductive supporting member in at least one end edge. CONSTITUTION:An insulation layer 5 of polyester film or the like is formed on a conductive supporting member (Al or the like) 6 and a resistance layer 2 prepd. by mixing carbon black with acrylic resin etc. (about 10<5>-10<9>OMEGA.cm resistivity) is provided thereon. Then, a polyethylene terephthalate film is bonded on the layer 2, whereby a recording layer 1 is formed. The layer 2 is so formed as to be connected to the member 6 at end edges 2A, 2B. The member 6 is earthed by means of a conductive contactor 4 such as roller or brush. In this way, the earthing is made sure and the earth resistance is made low and stable and this enables the image of a high density free from uneven densities to be obtained at all times with a recording stylus 10.
