Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A pit 3 having a diameter small than that of a pile 2 is excavated in the ground 1, and a pipe 4 capable of easily deforming against external pressure is inserted into the pit 3. The pile 2 is set in a pile driver and the pile 2 is placed on the ground 1 by making the axle of the pipe coincide with that of the pit. The pile driver is operated to give the pile a lowering force and a turning force in order to penetrate the pile 2 into the ground 1. Thus, the intrusion of soil into the inside of the pile and the strong adhesion of the soil to the inside circumference of the tip of the pile 2 can be avoided, whereby preventing the choking of the tip of the pile. The pile can thus be easily penetrated to a given deep depth.
