Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent excessive supply of fuel in a supercharged engine, by providing in a fuel controlling boost compensator a means for shifting a fuel controlling rack in a fuel reducing direction when excessive supply of fuel is caused.
CONSTITUTION: In a boost compensator 1, there are provided a diaphragm 8 separating a boost pressure chamber 10 and an atmospheric pressure chamber 11 from each other and a push rod 12 which is fixed to the diaphragm 8 and interlokced to a fuel controlling rack 6 via a lever 4. Tha above mechanism functions to shift the rack 6 in a fuel increasing direction with increase of supercharging pressure acted in the boost pressure chamber 10. Further, a lever 23 driven by a solenoid coil 19 is disposed in face of the push rod 12, so that fuel supply can be reduced by shifting the rod 12 to the left in the drawing by the lever 23 in response to an output signal of the control unit 25 produced at the time when excessive supply of fuel is caused.
