Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the product of the disproportionation reaction of the titled compound, by contacting a compound having a carbon-carbon double bond and a functional group free from unsaturated bond at the conjugated position, and a compound devoid of the functional group described above, etc., with a catalyst containing a W compound, etc.
CONSTITUTION: (A) At least one compound such as unsaturated nitrile, ketone, amide, ether, etc., having a carbon-carbon double bond and free from unsaturated bond at the position conjugated to the double bond (e.g. 9-octadecene nitrile) is reacted with (B) an ethylenic unsaturated compound having a carbon-carbon double bond and devoid of a functional group having no unsaturated bond at the position conjugated to the double bond (e.g. 1-hexene), by contacting with a catalyst composed of (C) one or more compounds selected from W, Mo, and Re compounds and (D) an organic aluminum compound having carbon-aluminum bond.
