Abstract
PURPOSE:To make multiplex transmission possible by sending two signals to one transmission line by way of two comb line filters whose passing bands never overlap each other. CONSTITUTION:A signal from data transmitter 10 passes through transmitting comb line filter 11 and is sent to common transmission line 13 by way of hybrid transformer 12, and another signal from data transmitter 23 passes through transmitting comb line filter 24 and is sent to transmission line 13 by way of hybrid transformer 25. In this case, passing bands of comb line filters 11 and 24 never overlap each other. The transmitted signals are received by data receivers 18 and 27 with comb line filters 17 and 26 of corresponding characteristics. Each comb line filter consists of delay circuit 14, adder 15 and attenuator 16 that attenuates an addition output to one half.
