Abstract
PURPOSE:To analyze tungsten in metal material simply and with high reliability by performing measurement by the electrograph method by using a specific reagent. CONSTITUTION:Mixed solution composed of acid solution containing rhodamine B, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid and persulfuric acid ammonium and of L-ascorbic acid solution and having a composition shown in the table is used as the reagent. That is, the anode end 5 of an electrode 2 is connected with the metal material 1 to be inspected, and then absorbent cotton 3 impregnated with the aforesaid reagent solution is picked up with electroconductive tweezers serving as a cathode end 4 and is made to contact with the material, and electrification is made for about 5sec. Next, coloration (red-violet) caused by reaction between tungesten ion and rhodamine B is measured and thereby tungsten in the metal material 1 is analyzed (for judgement of the presence, half quantification).
