Abstract
PURPOSE:To quickly analyze a small concentration of indium with high sensitivity and accuracy without separating concomitant elements of a sample, by previously adding a sensitizer to the contact part of a carbon atomizer with the sample. CONSTITUTION:Zirconium, molybdenum, yttrium, lanthanum, thorium or tungsten is added to the contact part of the carbon atomizer with the sample or to a solution of the sample. A minute quantity of indium is then measured. According to this method, the efficiency of atomization of the indium is raised and the sensitivity for the measurement is greatly heightened.
