Abstract
PURPOSE: To prolong the service life of the clutch release bearing by providing a rotary inner ring which engages with a diaphragm spring finger of a clutch and an unrotary outer ring to be biased inwardly in the radial direction by a stopper ring.
CONSTITUTION: The bearing device 20 is provided with the rotary inner ring 1 and unrotary outer ring 2. When the bearing device 20 comes into contact with a finger 6, the device 20 tilts in the radial direction, resulting in an alignment of the rotation centers of both. In the movement in the radial direction and tilting movement of the bearing device 20, an automatic regulation of the center can be done very easily because a sliding contact surface 12 of a slider ring 11 biased by the stopper ring 7 and a sliding contact surface 14 of a center regulation ring 13 are contacted with each other on a sloped surface. Thus, an occurrence of heat generation, abnormal frictional consumption, or abnormal sliding noise at the contact part of the finger 6 and bearing device 20 can be eliminated, resulting in the prolongation of the service life of the bearing device 20.
