Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain moldings having a homogeneous quality, a high density, and a superior magnetic characteristic by applying pressure in isotropic direction to the magnetic powder through an elastic body and at the same time by pressing under an action of magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:When a required pulse power is applied from a terminal 17 to a coil 16, the coil 16 instantly generates a strong pulse magnetic field, acting on magnetic material powder 3 packed in an elastic body 1 to align crystals in magnet domain into a magnetic field direction. Under the acting condition of magnetic field like this, the powder 3 is applied by compression-pressing through the elastic body 1. Compression-pressing can be applied by either way, e.g. pressing is done by driving male and lower punches 4, 5 with fixed side punches 8, 9, 10, 11, or by driving side punches 8, 9, 10, 11 with fixed upper and lower punches 4, 5. By this method, the powder 3 can be molded to a uniform density by pressure in isotropic direction. And also by a strong magnetic field action, favorable turning of spin and alignment effect will be obtained.
