Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The metal temperature detector 1 of a computer system CMP detects the temperature of the metal of the inside surface of a reheated steam chamber and that of the metal of the inside surface of the first stage, which are elements for calculating the thermal stress of a rotor. Information Tf on the detected temperatures is applied to a thermal stress calculator 2, which determines the thermal stress in the rotor. The determined thermal stress S is applied to a load change ratio calculator 3 so that a load change rate R allowable for a turbine is calculated correspondingly to the thermal stress of the rotor. The load change rate R is applied to a message output section 5 and a load change controller 4. The load change controller 4 moves the position of a load change rate setting unit 6 and appropriately regulates the controller 7 of a steam regulating valve 8.
