Abstract

PURPOSE: To stick easily an irregularly reflecting metallized film on the surface of a member to be sticked, by a method wherein an irregularly reflecting metallized film is formed on a rough-surfaced vehicle film formed on one side of a sheet substrate, and then the film is transferred and sticked onto one side of the member to be sticked.
CONSTITUTION: A sheet or film substrate 1 is brought into contact with a printing roller 4 provided with a mesh pattern to coat a vehicle having low fluidity on the substrate 1, whereby a rough- surfaced vehicle film (a) is formed. The substrate is introduced into the vaccum metallizing chamber 12 of a continuous vacuum metallizing apparatus 10, contacted with a metal vapor to form a rough-surfaced irregularly metallized film on the film (a), and then wound up on a take- up drum 3. Then the substrate 1 wound up on the drum 3 and a member 20 to be sticked, which is supplied from a supply drum 21, are supplied to the space between cooling rollers 22, 23. At the same time an adhesive C is supplied from an extruder 26 so that the metallized film (b) is bonded to the member 20 to be sticked by pressing. Then the substrate is separated from the member 20 by separating rolls 24a, 24b, whereby the films (a), (b) are transferred and sticked onto the member 20 to be sticked.
