Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the crown and the edge drop of the strip, by keeping the middle of the rolls of the rolling mill on the height of the pass line, and by adjusting the height of the roll chocks so as to keep either one of rolls on the driving side and the operating side higher than the pass line and to keep other one lower than the pass line.
