Abstract
PURPOSE:To make a fish of low grade or out of season palatable, by stuffing the abdomen of the fish with appetizing material. CONSTITUTION:The gills 2 and the anal region 3 are removed from a fish body 1, and the guts 4 are extracted with a degutting tool inserted through the mouth into the abdomen 5 of the fish. An appetizing material 6 seasoned with vegetable, ''miso'', egg, spices, etc. impregnated with a seasoning liquid having desired taste, is injected into the abdomen 5. The abdomen swells to a proper size and shape, and the food values of the fish are increased by this procedure.
