Abstract
PURPOSE: To promote the appetite, and to increase the growth rate, by adding aluminum silicate to a feed for a pig.
CONSTITUTION: An additive comprising synthetic or natural aluminum silicate, and if necessary an antibiotic, an enzyme, a seasoning and a perfume is thoroughly mixed with a usual mixed feed for fattening a pig, e.g. milo, maize, barley, bean- cake and fish meal. The resulting mixture is administered to a pig to promote the appetite and to increase the growth rate thereof remarkably.
