Abstract

PURPOSE:To insert a recording paper smoothly by providing a magnetic circuit control mechanism, controlling the magnetic circuit of a permanent magnet, for varying the adhesive strength between a guide electrode and recording paper. CONSTITUTION:Permanent magnet 31 constitutes a magnetic circuit with magnetic constitution plates 32 and 33, and permanent magnet 31 can attract and release magnetic constitution plates 32 and 33 through tie bar 34, spring 35 and connecting rod 36. Magnetic constitution plates 32 and 33 are tied to lower electrode 2 and recording paper 7 moves in contact with their tops; and guide electrode 4 containing a magnetic body moves onto the recording paper and this electrode 4 is attracted by magnetized magnetic constitution plates 32 and 33. Therefore, moving permanent magnet 31 as shown by arrow 37 controls the magnetic force of guide electrode 4, i.e. adsorption force.
