Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain superior cell containers at a time without deforming electrode substrates by stacking materials of cell containers, combined with electrode substrates, while spacers having uneven surfaces are interposed between them respectively and by pressurizing and heating them. CONSTITUTION:Two upper and lower electrode substrates 1 and 2 are combined together via sealing material 3 to manufacture cell container material A. The materials A and A are stacked on base 6 with interposing spacers 8 and 8 having uneven top and reverse surfaces and, while pressurized by pressure plate 7, heated to bond upper and lower electrode substrates 1 and 2 of cell container materials A and A through sealing material 3, thereby manufacturing cell containers at a time. Consequently, air expanding thermally in gap (a) is exhausted by passing through recess parts of the surfaces of spacers 8, preventing electrode substrates 1 and 2 from deforming.
