Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid the directivity disturbance due to mutual interference, by constituting antenna elements with electric resistors, in a directive antenna for direction finder, consisting of a plurality of antennas. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of vertical type antennas (a) are circumferentially located by taking an auxiliary antenna (b) as the center and they are connected to the antenna switching section (d) with connection cables (c) to constitute a Doppler direction measuring device. The antennas are constituted with elements 1, 2 consisting of resistors and are connected electrically and mechanically connected with joint tool 3. One end of a feeding line 7 is connected to the supporting fixture 5 of the element and ground 6 and another end is connected to the antenna switching section. The induced electromotive force is maximum at the resonance frequency in response to the antenna length is maximum, and the reradiation power is also increased. Since resistors are used for the elements 1, 2, a part of the induced power is consumed in the resistors, reradiated power is decreased and mutual interference between elements is removed. The resistor for elements is formed with conductive molding rod in which carbon fibers are mixed in plastic material greater in mechanical strength.
